This privacy policy (the “Policy”) is intended to inform you of the types of information Reid Ranch (“we” or “us”) collects, as well as our policies and practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of that information through the web pages at www.reidranch.com (the “Site”).

Please read this Policy carefully, because by using the Site, you are acknowledging that you understand and agree to the terms of this Policy, and consent to the manner in which we may collect, use and disclose the foregoing information. Personal Information You Provide to Us

We only have access to and collect personal information (such as your name, telephone number, or email address, collectively, “Personal Information”) that you voluntarily give us via several web forms on this website. We will not sell or rent your Personal Information to anyone. We are the sole owners of the Personal Information collected on this Site.

All forms on the Site, when submitted by you, will route through our internal email server to the appropriate persons. We utilize point-to-point encryption through this entire process. Sensitive or confidential information (such as your credit card for the damage deposit) is further stored in an encrypted folder.

Whenever you use the Site, we, as well as any of our third-party plug-ins and/or service providers, may use a variety of technologies that automatically collect information about how the Site is accessed and used (“Usage Information”).

Usage Information may include browser type, operating system, the page served, the time, how many users visited the Site, and the website you visited immediately before the Site. This information helps us understand how visitors use the Site and improve content and usability.

  • Third-party plug-ins – Plug-ins may use tracking technologies such as cookies and web beacons. Currently, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are loaded on all pages of the Site.

  • Social media metadata – Metadata may be used in connection with platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Currently, we do not use any social media plug-ins.

We use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We may also use your information for the purposes described below.

Texting

If you opted in via phone or from the contact form on this website, we may send occasional text messages. These messages may include:

  • Promotions – Special offers or discounts.
  • Policy changes – Notifications about changes such as check-out times or procedures.
  • Reminders – Reminders to complete items such as guest rosters prior to arrival.
  • Real-time notices – Notices such as campfire restrictions due to fire danger.

Emails

We may send emails regarding your reservation, policy updates, invoices, rotation schedules, and other information relevant to your stay. Waivers are sent through SmartWaiver’s email system.

We do not trade, rent, share, or sell your Personal Information to third parties unless you authorize us to do so. We may, however, enter necessary information into third-party platforms in order to provide services as part of our business operations.

If Reid Ranch or substantially all of its assets are acquired, information collected through the Site may be transferred as part of that transaction.

You may opt out of promotional emails or texts by following the instructions provided in the message or by contacting us directly. Email opt-out requests are processed automatically or within 30 days when requested directly. Texting opt-out requests are handled through our texting platform.

  • Request deletion of your information.

Does This Policy Apply to Other Websites?

The Site may contain links to other websites. Any information you provide to those websites is governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.

The Site is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If such information is discovered, we will make reasonable efforts to delete it.

Because Reid Ranch serves families and youth groups, information relating to children may be entered on waiver forms through third-party platforms.

All communications between your browser and our server are encrypted using industry-standard security protocols.
