Ranch Attendant
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with questions, directions, and general needs.
- Assist in ranch retail areas (gift shop, snack shop, or other on-site shops), including operating the register, handling cash or card transactions, restocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized space.
- Help with scheduled guest activities such as archery, mini-golf, lower-ropes course, lake activities, and lawn games.
- Assist with setup, supervision, and cleanup of activity areas while following safety guidelines.
- Help maintain cleanliness of public spaces and assist room attendants as needed.
- Support light groundskeeping and general ranch tasks.
- Work cooperatively with other departments and follow daily task assignments.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Friendly, dependable, and guest-focused.
- Comfortable interacting with guests of all ages.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, both indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs.

Wrangler
Position Overview
Wranglers are responsible for the care, safety, and management of horses while providing a safe, positive, and memorable experience for ranch guests. This role combines hands-on horse care with guest interaction, requiring strong communication skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Wranglers play a key role in daily barn operations and represent the ranch through professionalism, hospitality, and enthusiasm.
Primary Responsibilities
- General upkeep of the barn, corrals, tack room, and fencing.
- Overseeing the health, feeding, medical care, and overall welfare of horses.
- Maintaining and organizing guest safety equipment, including helmets.
- Leading and assisting guided trail rides.
- Providing clear safety orientations to guests before each ride.
- Monitoring guests during rides to ensure safety, confidence, and enjoyment.
- Represent the ranch with professionalism, enthusiasm, and hospitality.
- When horseback riding activity is slow, Wranglers may assist other departments, including the Grounds Crew, as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Able to lift 80 pounds or more.
- Trail riding experience, including leading or assisting rides with inexperienced riders.
- Horse training experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work well under time constraints and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Maintains a positive, friendly, and professional attitude with guests and coworkers.
Certifications
- First Aid / CPR certification required (Online certification accepted).
Room Attendant
Position Overview
Room Attendants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the ranch. They ensure guest rooms, public spaces, outdoor areas, and lakefront facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming. Room Attendants interact regularly with guests, respond to requests in a friendly and timely manner, assist with lakefront activities, and help support retail and concessions operations. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, efficiency, and a positive attitude.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of guest rooms, lodges, public spaces, and outdoor areas.
- Support lakefront activities by welcoming guests, explaining safety rules, monitoring activity, and maintaining equipment.
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
- Assist with laundry and general upkeep as needed.
- Provide support to Ranch Attendants in shops and activities.
- Work efficiently as part of a team while also being able to work independently.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and ranch procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Kitchen Helper
Position Overview
Kitchen Helpers support the Executive Chef and kitchen team by assisting with food preparation, maintaining clean and organized kitchen and dining areas, and helping ensure a positive dining experience for guests. This position requires teamwork, efficiency, and a positive attitude. Kitchen Helper schedules may differ from other ranch positions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef with assigned kitchen duties and food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining, and food service areas.
- Support efficient meal service while following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Work effectively as part of a team while following direction from kitchen leadership.
- This position may have a different daily schedule than other ranch positions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Mountain Bike Guide
Position Overview
Mountain Bike Guides lead guests on guided rides throughout the ranch trail system while ensuring safety, enjoyment, and a positive guest experience. They provide instruction and supervision for riders of varying skill levels, maintain biking equipment, and assist with general ranch operations as needed. This position requires strong communication skills, physical endurance, and a positive attitude.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead guided mountain bike tours for beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders.
- Ensure all guests wear helmets and understand safety guidelines before each ride.
- Monitor guest safety and trail conditions throughout tours.
- Maintain, inspect, and perform basic repairs on mountain bikes and equipment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests at all times.
- Assist with Ranch Attendant or Grounds Crew duties when biking activity is slow.
- Work effectively as part of a team while being able to work independently.
- Follow all ranch safety procedures and policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Overview
Grounds Crew members are responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance, and appearance of the ranch facilities and grounds. They help ensure the ranch is safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and staff. Grounds Crew may assist with guest activities or provide support in retail operations when needed. This role requires physical endurance, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain the general upkeep of ranch facilities, including grounds, lodges, pools, and irrigation systems.
- Operate and assist with machinery and equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, chain saws, and power tools.
- Use and maintain basic hand tools found in a standard toolbox.
- Set up and take down 8-man tents for Tent City camping guests.
- Build campfires for guests to use in the evening and ensure they have matches.
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
- Assist with guest activities or provide support in the Trading Post and Souvenir Shop as needed.
- Work efficiently as part of a team while also being able to work independently.
- Follow all ranch safety procedures and policies.
